Long-term stability of the cells-stack is currently under investigation. 23 Durability Improvement of Segmented-in-Series Cell Stacks for Small Scale SOFCs EXPERIMENTAL The cells-stack design is schematically shown in Fig. 1. 16 single-cells are formed on one support flat-tube (8 single-cells on each side of the support flat-tube). Each single cell has Ni/8YSZ anode, Sr and Co doped-LaFeC>3 cathode, and 8YSZ electrolyte. Electrical current flows longitudinally at one side, and flows back at the other side.
