Spiderman: Miles Morales comes with a much welcomed addition

If you haven’t seen the latest Playstation 5 event then you need to see it. Like…RIGHT NOW! They showcased some games that we knew about from the previous games showcase mixed in with some new exclusives. At the end of the showcase they also revealed the price points for both the physical and digital versions of the PS5 console.

PlayStation 5 launches in November, starting at $399 for PS5 Digital Edition and $499 for PS5 with Ultra HD Blu-Ray Disc Drive
Nov. 12 for: U.S., CANADA, JAPAN, AUSTRALIA, NEW ZEALAND, SOUTH KOREA
Nov. 19th for the rest of the world

One of the games that’s been at the forefront of everyone’s mind since the PS5 was announced was Spider-Man: Miles Morales. Continuing in the same universe as Spider-Man on PS4, this game takes place one year after those events, and in Harlem! Just FYI – according to Sony’s presentation, every game was showcased on PS5 hardware. This game looks fantastic and the combat with Miles looks like there’s some improvements on the last game.

Marvel's Spider-Man Miles Morales - Combat

I don’t want to talk about that today – instead I’m going to tell you what Sony forgot to mention when showing Spider-Man: Miles Morales. The Ultimate Edition will launch both digitally and physically for $69.99. Get this – it’s coming with a remaster of Spider-Man! Not only will they give us this, but Spider-Man: MM will also be cross-gen. What that means is if you’re not upgrading to the PS5 just yet then you have the option of buying it on PS4.

What this also means for you is that if/when you make that jump to the PS5 you’ll get upgraded to the PS5 version of that game for free. This isn’t exclusive to Just Spider-Man, they’re doing this with their other PS5 exclusive titles. You can catch the recap below.
