Game Freak concludes it’s Pokemon series on the Nintendo 3DS
Ladies, gentlemen, children that can understand this…we have something big going on here. Let me give you a quick overview of what’s happening. In an interview with IGN, Game Freak earlier talked about their future on one of the biggest selling handheld gaming devices IN THE HISTORY OF GAMING! I’m talking about the Nintendo 3DS, the only system that’s been able to outsell the Playstation 4(go ahead and debate me on this if you want). Here’s what happened: Game Freak discussed with IGN that their future title of Pokemon Ultra Sun & Moon isn’t just an expansion on the previous title, but a whole new game.
This one will have several new features and a new story that you can tap into after beating the main story. Along with the new features(they couldn’t go into full detail) and new story, they have made some new Pokemon. That’s all well and dandy but in my opinion the biggest bomb they’ve dropped on us was them saying “We’re really treating Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon as the culmination of our work with the 3DS system.” They’ve expressed in their interview that they’ve reached the maximum potential and capabilities as to what the 3DS can do, and after this latest release on November 17, 2017 they will be moving onto something else.

Think about this little tid-bit for a minute: Kazumasa Iwao, director of the latest 3DS games has stated that only 80 staff members are working on this last project. That’s half his staff, so what other project is the other half of his staff working on? I’ll tell you…
POKEMON FOR THE NINTENDO SWITCH!!
That’s right folks, the next Pokemon title and I’m not talking about Pokken Tournament. I mean the next Pokemon RPG title. They are figuring out how to make it even bigger and better than what’s already on the handheld. I, for one am excited for it because this means we’ll get more multiplayer features, and even better looking graphics and functionality for the series. Being a fan that has been re-introduced to the latest series by a good friend of mine, I’m eager to see how all of this unfolds. If you think this won’t be a big hit in the near future, then battle me 3 vs 3, no ultra beasts or legendary pokemon, and no rage quitting. This is how real trainers battle!
