My SNES Review: A Great Addition To Anyone’s Collection
Hey guys! Chipz here, back at it with another post. This time it’s to give you all the head’s up on my very own review of the Super NES Classic. This particular review along with owning this gaming system is special to me for many reasons. To start, I’ll give you a brief description of what the Super NES is. The Super Nintendo Entertainment System is a video game system that came out in the early 90s and for the most part it was released all across the world.
It took on the abbreviations of Super NES, or SNES. However, in Japan it was called Super Famicom and in my honest opinion I like the color scheme of the Famicom better than the North American version. I believe Europe had also gotten the same color scheme as Japan since their version of the SNES Classic is the same color.

Japanese/European version: Super Famicom/Super NES
The Super NES is the second system from Nintendo, following the NES(Nintendo Entertainment System). The Super NES has had a pretty long life-span because it remained popular even throughout the 32-bit era of gaming. This system became an instant classic with games like Super Mario World, Super Mario World 2: Yoshi’s Island, Super Metroid, Zelda: A Link To The Past, the list can literally go on and on.
Nintendo decided to release a classic version of these systems, especially since the NES Classic did so well. It sold out all across the world and was so hard to get a hold of. People bought multiple systems and started to resell them online for insane prices. We call these people scalpers. But I digress, since I missed out on this as a kid I had to get one as a Man-child(yes, I’m calling myself a Man-child) and relive the days of old. The only time I had really gotten to play any game on the Super NES is when I was over a friend or relative’s house. I’m glad I was able to get one.
